Here’s what applies when you buy one of my apps. softwarea is a one-person company: wherever “I” appears, it refers to softwarea GmbH.

1. Who sells you the app

My apps are sold by my reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd., Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom (“Paddle”). Paddle is your contracting partner (Merchant of Record): Paddle handles payment, issues the invoice, and manages taxes. In addition to these terms, Paddle’s buyer terms apply: paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. You receive the app itself, the license, and support directly from me.

2. What you buy

You purchase a license for an app – as a one-time payment, without a subscription and without an expiration date. The license is valid for you or your company and can be used on as many devices simultaneously as specified on the product page. If you switch devices, deactivate the old one in your account or in the app. App updates are included in the price. Transferring the license key to others is not permitted.

3. Try before you buy

You can download and try any app for free before purchasing. What the app can do without a license (for example, a trial period) is stated on its product page.

4. Refund within 14 days

If you’re not satisfied with an app, you get your money back: within 14 days of purchase, no reason needed. Just email me at info@softwarea.de with your order number, or contact Paddle directly via paddle.net (the link is also in your receipt). Upon refund, the license key becomes invalid, and the app reverts to its unlicensed state.

5. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal. Since Paddle is your contracting partner, this is governed by Paddle’s buyer terms. Regardless, my 14-day refund policy from Section 4 applies.

6. Invoice

Paddle issues and sends the invoice to you by email. You can also find it at any time in your account on softwarea.de; there you can add your name, company, and address to the invoice.
